Keep Blanco Beautiful (KBB), The Hill Country Alliance, Texas Parks and Wildlife and The Nature Conservancy have worked hard over the past months on the Town Creek Riparian Restoration Project. It’s time to celebrate all the wonderful progress. Join us on Tues. Oct. 2 for a big celebration at the pergola in Bindseil Park at 11 a. m. First, there will be a few short presentations.After the presentations, we will take a tour of the riparian to see how well it has come along. Then we will be placing signs along the grow zone area which will identify the grow zone and finally we will be having a fun ribbon cutting ceremony. Snacks will be provided. Our volunteers have done an incredible job and we are ready to celebrate with the whole town. If there is rain, we will relocate to the Byars Building located at 308 Pecan St for our celebration.
